The Bible for Women
One of the goals I strive for every year is reading the entire Bible. Sometimes it takes me one year and sometimes two. Either way, reading our Bibles and gaining more knowledge of the Word will strengthen and encourage us. Knowing the scriptures helps us fight temptation and overcome Satan.
2 Timothy 3:12-17 states,
“In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
Click here for a Bible reading plan to print and keep in your Bible. This Bible Reading schedule was developed by Michael Coley. He gives permission to use his Bible reading schedule in your church newsletters, etc., but please give him credit at www.bible-reading.com.
You can check each box as you read the scripture. This will help you keep track of each scripture you have read and your progress through your Bible reading journey.
Choose to read your Bible however you desire. You can read from Genesis to Revelation. You can read from Revelation to Genesis. You can alternate an Old Testament book and a New Testament book. Some of my friends choose to read New Testament, then Old Testament and then some skip all around the books.
Set a time each day devoted to Bible reading. God will richly bless your life in your daily Bible study.
